Monday,10 March 2014 - Country Speech Project for this Thursday and Friday

This morning we created a grammar bulletin board to help us become more familiar with prepositions and helping verbs.  Students continued writing stories, in anticipation for Writing Rally later this week.

Students are working hard on their Book Report #2.  A little every day counts for a lot!  CONTINUE READING 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY.

MATH HOMEWORK IS THE FIRST TWO PAGES OF THE REVIEW.  We will be reviewing graphing algebraic equations for the next few days.  Also coordinate charting.  PLEASE GET ON TO XTRAMATH.COM AND WORK ON YOUR BASIC FACTS.  Students do make progress when they do those 10 minutes every day.  They gain confidence and their math accuracy rises.

This afternoon, after drama and music, we learned about the Great Wall of China.  Students reviewed the requirements for their speeches and made appointments for Thursday afternoon and Friday afternoon.  The schedule is on the whiteboard in our classroom.  Students will be graded on the rubric below.

In Science the focus is on the Nervous System.
