GRANDPARENTS' DAY IS FRIDAY!!!

TOMORROW IS UNIFORM DAY.  WE WILL BE WALKING TO THE SCERA TO WATCH MERLIN, THE MAGICIAN AROUND 9:15 A.M., SO BRING A COAT OR SOMETHING WARM TO WEAR.

This morning we started the second half of the alphabet.  "M" in cursive.

We worked very hard on prepositions and object of the prepositions.  Students are becoming masters at classifying sentences.

In reading, students chose a small book for tomorrows circle share.  We are working on summarizing without giving away endings or too much.  In Writer's Workshop, three more books were finished for publication!

HOMEWORK IS TO READ FOR 30 MINUTES AND FINISH ANY UNFINISHED WORK (SEE LAST WEEK'S HOMEWORK LIST!

MATH HOMEWORK TODAY: is a front and back sheet of addition and subtraction.  The story problems must be done showing bars, brackets, labels, numbers, and question marks and sentences.  The last story problem is a humdinger!  It is extra credit!

Social Studies was fun.  We shared dinosaur presentations and made blurbs to go on the bulletin board downstairs.
