TOMORROW STUDENTS CAN WEAR COSTUMES TOMORROW.
This morning we learned cursive "T", reviewed the PPA and PNA, raced on spelling, worked on our Choose an Ending story, and began chapter seven of Summer of the Monkeys. It is really neat that so many kids are getting into this book! There is always a question from the beginning, middle, and end of the chapter on the quiz the next day. CHAPTER SEVEN IS HOMEWORK!
Many students are illustrating legends for Writer's Workshop. If your child hasn't written the Native American legend yet, have them go on to our class google drive (email sent home to parents yesterday with instructions!) and type out their stories.
MONDAY IS THE LAST DAY TO FINISH NATIVE AMERICAN FEATHER ASSIGNMENTS.
In math, we did Cum test #2. I will grade these tonight. Some students still have not completed them yet, but will have the opportunity to complete them tomorrow. HOMEWORK IS TO MAKE SURE THAT ALL PAGES 40-66 ARE COMPLETED AND CORRECTED. BOOKS WILL BE HANDED IN TOMORROW.
We wrote letters to the President on behalf of the Native Americans today. Students found out where current Native Americans live, what opportunities they have today, and what contributions they make to Utah.
